The Babb Group is a women-owned, educational consultancy business that specializes in academic services, instructional design, and providing teaching opportunities and support services to professors. After suffering through years of limited website lead conversions (and combatting the frustrations of those web leads that did convert!), The Babb Group decided that they needed a new and improved website experience that effectively showcased their unique and appealing brand, provided an intuitive user experience for web visitors, and increased web sales for their products and services.

Project Scope

I supported The Babb Group in designing the look & feel of their redesigned website, including: 

  1. Analyzing their target audience and current web experience to reveal opportunities with the redesign
  2. Identifying the goals for the project and proposed design strategies for achieving those goals
  3. Mapping out user flows to strategically nurture visitors to specific products and services based on their expressed interests
  4. Defining web fonts, colors, styles, images, page layouts, and overall website design standards
  5. Final page design for each page

Showcasing the Brand

With their website redesign, The Babb Group needed to present an experience that showcased their unique brand personality. The Babb Group is a women-owned business that prides itself on high-vibe, high-impact interactions with their clients, and their logo and color scheme were already highly recognizable within the online learning space. I ensured that their brand recognition and personality translated effectively to the web with the thoughtful selection of web-safe fonts, colors, icons, and photography.

Providing an Improved User Experience

The Babb Group serves multiple audiences with a wide breadth of different products and services, and their previous website presented a very confusing and cumbersome online shopping experience. We completely redesigned the user journey from initial education to final purchase in order to simplify the shopping experience, streamline the purchasing process, and ultimately reduce the number of clicks required to end at a desired result.
